Yes…..rain is in the forecast for  tomorrow and again Saturday evening but no, this is *not* a repeat of last week all over again! It’s a little sad to see this amazing run of weather end but more nice weather will follow. The sunshine-buster is a cool front draped across the Great Lakes this evening & this front will slide into New England tomorrow evening with a smattering of showers. Tomorrow is not a washout though so outdoor plans can (and should) get accomplished–especially the plans before 3pm. After 3pm, there will be a few scattered showers and perhaps even a thunderstorm. Despite more clouds & a afternoon showers, no chilly/raw temps. Nope, if anything, it might even feel like an early summer day with an increase in humidity.

The weekend is about timing (isn’t it always?) as there will be another cool front with clouds & showers heading through New England but the timing of that front is nearly perfect for us. The front isn’t set to arrive (with showers) until after dark Saturday so daytime Saturday is sunny & warm—-temps into the 70s. The front is moving along at a great clip so it’s gone before sunrise Sunday. Unfortunately, so is the warm air…plan on Sunday afternoon temps in the upper 50s and a stiff breeze adding a chill to the air.

Seasonably cool weather looks to settle in for a few days next week–especially Monday & Wednesday. There are signs that perhaps our pattern turns warm in New England for the last 10 days of May–which would include the Memorial Day Holiday—bit far off but let’s see how it unfolds.

Enjoy whats left of #TBT
