The EF1 Tornado cut a path of destruction four football fields wide, blowing residents in its path out of their beds.

Officials said it was clear that a tornado caused all the damage. It tossed trees in different directions and twisted them off halfway up the trunk.

Winds reached 100 mph and the twister stayed on the ground about a half a mile.

The storm damaged 39 homes but only one suffered serious damaged and no one was hurt.

A National Weather Service alarm gave many homeowners a 15 to 20 minute warning, blasting them out of their beds with a 20 second alarm siren.

Governor Charlie Baker was able to take a look at the damage first hand.

He toured the area with clean-up crews on Monday evening.

About 1,000 homes lost power after the tornado hit. Many residents have regained power but the clean-up will take time.
