DALLAS (NBC) — A wild police chase with a suspected thief ended in a dramatic crash and an arrest on Thursday in Dallas.
The chase started with a Dallas Police Air One chopper following the robbery suspect in what police say was a stolen vehicle.
Garland Police joined the pursuit when the vehicle crossed city limits.
The driver lost control of the SUV while cutting across a large median.
The vehicle then careened through several street signs and narrowly missed hitting several other vehicles before slamming into a fence.
Officers then surrounded the vehicle with guns drawn and pulled the driver out to place him into custody.
