DOVER, N.H. (AP) — One of two witnesses whose testimony helped convict a New Hampshire man of murder is expected to give a statement in the man’s bid for a retrial.

Tristan Wolusky appeared in Strafford County Superior Court on Tuesday to continue his retrial request. He was convicted of first-degree murder last year in the 2014 stabbing death of 18-year-old Aaron Wilkinson. He’s currently serving a life sentence.

An attorney for Zachary Pinette sent a letter to Wolusky’s attorney indicating Pinette might have new information that could help the case. That information is expected by Dec. 26.

Pinette and Michael Tatum are each serving a minimum of 30 years in prison for their involvement in Wilkinson’s death.

A decision on whether to grant a retrial isn’t expected until next year.
