Pats players support “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign

FOXBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - Patriots players  Logan Ryan and Martellus Bennett are showing off their colorful cleats for a good cause.

Ryan and Bennett are taking part in Sunday’s “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign. Players across the league will be raising awareness about different issues with their one-of-a-kind cleats.

Ryan chose to raise awareness for animal shelters, specifically shelter dogs. In his tweet, he also shared a link to holiday t-shirts he is selling to support local shelters.

Bennett’s cleats are decorated with a logo for his foundation that he says is coming soon, the Uncle Smarty Foundation. Bennett already uses Uncle Smarty to share his favorite children’s books on social media.
