LONDON (AP) — The U.S. Geological Survey reports that northern Peru has been jolted by a magnitude 6.0 earthquake.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries from Saturday’s tremor at 1008 GMT.

The agency said the quake was centered about 50 kilometers (30 miles) north of Moyobamba, at a depth of 114 kilometers.
