A warmup is on the way over the next few days as the jet stream moves to the north allowing milder weather to stream into Southern New England.
Temperatures Monday will start chilly, but by the afternoon highs should top out around 70 under mostly sunny skies.
Conditions get even warmer on Tuesday with highs potentially reaching 80 for some, but most will see upper 70s.
Later in the week cooler conditions return behind a cold front but not quite as cold as the weekend.
