One person is dead after two people were shot on Hancock Street in Dorchester on Thursday.
A woman and a man were both taken to Boston Medical Center for treatment.
The man has since died.
The woman is expected to survive.
Boston Police said someone started shooting around 11:30 a.m.
Police said they do not believe it was a random shooting. It may have been connected to an argument.
There is no word on any suspects at this time.
