Vince Wilfork has already asked to be released from the New England Patriots and now there are reports saying he’s cleaned out his locker too.

The Boston Herald is reporting that Wilfork went as far is ripping his nameplate from his locker.

The Patriots haven’t released him yet, and Patriots Owner Robert Kraft is hoping they won’t have to.

“Going back over the last 20 years, we’ve had some pretty special people come through and he is one of my personal favorites. You know I’m thinking of Tedy Bruschi and Matt Light and Kevin Faulk and Troy Brown. They made their careers with us and I surely hope Vince will be with us next year,” Kraft said.
