Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!!  I’m thankful for so many things this year, but one of those things was the weather today.  Even though temps were still below average, the wind was light and the sun was out.  Step in that direct sunlight and SOAK IT UP!  It can really be a mood improver to bathe in the sunshine – even if you’re wearing a heavy coat at the same time.  I hope you’re reading this blog from the comfort of a warm home – rather than from the line you’re camping out in for Black Friday deals… but wherever you are, I hope you’re fed and happy!

Temps are currently sitting in the mid to upper 20s N&W of Boston (at 9:30pm) – and that’s about as cold as it will get overnight.  In fact, we may even see temps rise by a degree or two by sunrise tomorrow.  We’ll stay dry tonight and winds stay light.  So if you are heading out into the dark of the night (or the early morning) for those great deals, dress for the way it feels outside right now.

Milder air will begin to push in tomorrow, taking us up to seasonal averages.  Highs will be in the mid 40s to low 50s.  Plus, wind will still be light and the sunshine is back.  A fairly nice late fall day!  Enjoy!

It gets even warmer for Saturday, with temps climbing into the mid 50s.  We’ll have some clouds moving in during the afternoon, and there’s a slight chance (20%) for a spot shower late afternoon/evening.  Any flakes should stay in the higher terrain of Central and Northern New England.  This chance for showers comes along ahead of a cold front, and once that front moves through – it brings us right back down to the low 40s for highs on Sunday – and, I hate to say this, the wind is back.

The forecast for the Pats game on Sunday looks okay at first glance, with highs in the low 40s (much like today) – but it will be WINDY, which will make it FEEL like it’s in the low to mid 30s.  Bundle up in all your Patriots gear, and #GOPATS!!  – Breezy
