Biography
Samantha York joined the 7NEWS team in May, 2023. She comes to Boston by way of Harrisburg, PA, where she reported extensively on state politics, gun violence and the overdose crisis. Before that Samantha was a multimedia journalist in State College, PA. She has also worked as a production assistant at NBC Nightly News.
Samantha is driven by her desire to be where the community is. She seeks to amplify the voices of those who are impacted and never hesitates to ask tough questions in order to get to the root of an issue. The stories she tells she takes to heart.
