BOSTON (WHDH) - Eight people were forced out of their homes by a fire in Mattapan early Wednesday.
The Boston Fire Department said flamed traveled up from the basement to the first floor of a multifamily home on Westmore Road.
Seven adults, one child, and their pets were displaced.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
