I guess it’s fitting on the last morning of summer we have some humidity with us (Sunday was quite humid). Thankfully we won’t have to wait until 10:29 tonight (Autumnal Equinox) for the crisp, dry air to return. In fact, if you are reading this after 10am you probably are saying…what humidity? as the dry air is quickly overtaking New England. The dry air means comfortable for outdoor activities & also means ample sunshine to help you through The Mondays. Temps will reach the low 70s by afternoon.

As for the rest of the week it’s all about the dry pattern. No storms, fronts or tropical moisture will bother us for days meaning sunshiney days & crisp, cool nights. On Friday, there will be a storm passing well south of New England and as of now it may try & throw some clouds & isolated showers this way—especially south of the MA Pike but only isolated at best. After that we are right back into the sunshine for the upcoming weekend.

Quiet times for a meteorologist indeed.
