SEABROOK, N.H. (WHDH) - A bobcat was spotted Saturday in a parking lot in Seabrook, New Hampshire.
Joey Knowles photographed the bobcat as it scampered through a Sam’s Club parking lot.
“It was kind of shocking to see it at that time of day,” Knowles told 7News.
“I wanted to see how it reacted to human interaction – if it was going to run, startle off,” he said.
Knowles said he got within 20 feet of the bobcat and contacted authorities to see if they could get it to safety.
The bobcat though ran off and Knowles went home with a story to tell.
“It was definitely cool to encounter a bobcat that close up,” he said.
