School buses were running in Brockton Monday morning despite reports that negotiations between the private bus company and its drivers stalled out Sunday night.
Even though the buses were running, it was not known if the drivers union and the contractor, First Student Transportation, had reached an agreement.
Schools were ready to open early, if parents had to drop off their children.
