BOURNE, MASS. (WHDH) - Foundation testing began recently for the new Sagamore Bridge construction.
The current bridge, which opened over 90 years ago, is set to be replaced, with construction expected to begin late next year.
This week, crews began testing the soil conditions where the new support beams will be put in place.
