FRAMINGHAM, MASS. (WHDH) - The town of Framingham reached a settlement with the family of a man who was accidentally killed by police five years ago.

The family of Eurie Stamps, 68, will receive $3.75 million from the town as a result of a wrongful death lawsuit.

Stamps, a grandfather of 12, was shot in the head while complying with police orders during a SWAT team raid on his home back in 2011. An investigation concluded the officer accidentally pulled the trigger.
