BOSTON (WHDH) - Police are investigating after a shooting on Center Street in Jamaica Plain left a man dead Monday night.
Police were called before 1 a.m. for reports of a person who had been shot.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim in his early 40’s suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and later declared dead.
Boston Police spent the night searching for shell casings and surveillance video.
Police are now searching for the suspect.
