A standup paddleboarder in Jupiter, Florida had a close encounter with a shark Thursday.
The video was recorded by Maximo Trinidad.
He said he was enjoying some fun in the sun during his lunch break when the shark suddenly shot out of the water and skipped off his board.
Trinidad called the experience surreal and cool.
He said after his lunch break he rushed back to work to look at the video.
Trinidad said it’s not the first time he’s crossed paths with a shark while on the water.
