“The Voice” enters the live round of competition starting Monday night and will be starting with Team Adam and Team Blake, fighting to stay past Wednesday.

For many of the contestants, the live shows may as well be another world.

“Before the Voice, I was singing in bars and restaurants for 20 or 30 people. Sometimes just 10 people,” said Chris Jamison, who is on Team Adam.

It will be substantially more than that on the show. A national audience will see who rises to the challenge.

“I’m just going to have crazy anxiety all the time, but I think it’s going to be a really good feeling,” said Mia Pfirrman who’s on Team Adam.

“I hate to say it, but I always blackout when I get on stage because I’m so excited,” said Team Blake’s Taylor Brashears.

The singers from Team Blake and Team Adam will be trying to impress their respective coaches. The singers all know that Wednesday night, two members of each team will be heading home, leaving 12 of them to continue the journey.

“I’m really, really excited about the cameras flippin’ on and tv’s being on and it’s being go time, it’s live.  So, it’s going to be awesome,” said James David Carter of Tam Blake.

Team Gwen and Team Pharrell will be performing on Tuesday.

“The Voice.” starts at 8 p.m. right here on 7NBC.
