After reaching the 80s the last few days, the next few days will feature cooler weather as we turn down the temps. We’ll also occasionally throw in some rain drops… ok, at times a lot of rain drops.
We start this Friday morning with clouds, peeks of sun and a few scattered showers. Those scattered showers take up a small portion of the day, but you may want to keep the umbrella handy this morning. This afternoon, the shower chance is lower as increasing sun returns, especially by mid to late afternoon. With an onshore breeze, it’ll be cool at the coast, upper 60s there, while we warm into the mid to upper 70s inland.
Tonight’s dry and comfortably cool as temps dip into the 50s. It’ll be a great evening to fire up the grill and kick back and relax by the fire pit.
The weekend starts strong with some sun tomorrow, but that sun fades quickly behind clouds, foreshadowing the batch of rain eyeing New England for Saturday night and Sunday morning. Temps tomorrow range from the upper 60s at the coast to the mid 70s inland. A few showers may work in around dinner time, mainly west of 495, but the heaviest rain holds off until after midnight. Downpours are likely early Sunday morning before drier air tries to punch in for the afternoon. I expect many towns pick up 1″ of rain out of this, with locally up to 2″ possible.
Looking for a return to 80 degree weather? I think we’ll find it early next week.
Enjoy the weekend!
