Temperatures really haven’t budged much through the last 48 hours or so, staying in the mid to upper 40s in most areas.  That’s where we start this morning – but this morning’s weather is much drier than yesterday!  Thankfully its dry for those kiddos heading back to the bus stop this morning, after having Veterans Day off.  BUT, don’t let our dry hours this morning fool you.  It’s still a good idea to grab that umbrella as you head out (and with lighter wind today, you don’t have to worry about losing it or breaking it).

Clouds win for the entire day today, with widespread scattered showers starting the trek through the Bay State around mid-day.  The round of showers today comes along with a front, rather than a coastal storm like yesterday’s rain.  While we’ll take every drop we can get, it won’t be much this round.  It looks like only 0.1"-0.25" for most. Highs this afternoon are not far off from current temps, topping out in the low 50s.

It takes a while for those clouds to break apart, but overnight they eventually will.  We have the sunshine back for Friday – AND into the weekend.  However, the wind is also back.  The breeze strengthens through Friday, but we will climb into the upper 50s.  After that, it’s downright windy and brisk to kick off the weekend.  Saturday’s highs will top out around 50°, which will feel chilly for most – but it’s very "normal" for this time of year.

We’re in for quite a temperature roller-coaster ride into next week.  While the weekend will be chilly but close to average for the middle of November, the mild air makes a comeback for the work-week.  Highs are close to 60° both Monday and Tuesday, and then quite possibly into the mid-60s for the middle of the week.  The scarves are off the shelves, on the shelves… AC on, AC off… There are red cups in the coffee-shops (no comment), and I feel like ordering an iced pumpkin-spice latte.  Anyone else’s head spinning yet?   It may be hard to believe, but Thanksgiving is only two weeks from today!  Get your trussin’ talents practiced.  :c)
