Fierce flames tore through a home in West Roxbury Wednesday night.
The fire quickly climbed a 2.5 story house on Lagrange Street, just after 9 p.m.
Eight people, including two children, lost their home. The Red Cross is assisting the residents who have been displaced.
Two firefighters were hurt. Fire officials say a firefighter was taken to the hospital for a leg injury and another was treated for smoke inhalation.
