Estelle Mossely of France, took home the gold Friday night in women’s lightweight boxing. Mossely wins France’s first Olympic medal of any color in women’s boxing.

Mossely was a top seeded fighter in the lightweight tournament, receiving a bye into quarterfinals, where she defeated Italy’s Irma Testa.

She had a very different victory in the semifinals, winning via TKO by dislocating opponent Anastasiia Beliakova’s arm in the first round.

Mossely barely pulled off the finals victory she was favored to win, coming through in the fourth round with a flurry of hits to force a split decision victory.
