Three straight days of rain—you mad bro?! I will say the timing of this rain–the two straight commutes–does stink but it has to rain sometime if you want out of a drought. It certainly has been raining since midday Sunday with most cities & towns picking up between 1-2″ of rain (some close to 3″). We have more rain on tap this morning but as we work through the afternoon, our little rainstorm begins to break down and pull away. Most of the widespread, steady rain should be done between 1-3pm (3-5pm on Cape /Islands). Even though clouds persist the entire day, some outdoor activities are possible later today-this evening. Another cool, raw day ahead with temps only reaching the low 50s by afternoon.

High Pressure drops into New England for a midweek visit–give it a little time to get the sun back in here tomorrow morning–by afternoon a mix of sun & clouds will be the theme and with the sun comes milder temps, low to mid 60s (still below normal for early June though). Thursday features partly to mostly sunny skies & seasonal temps–mid 70s…the pick of the week as another batch of clouds & even a few isolated showers return for Friday. That Friday rain is not like the rain we’ve seen the past few days though–just a random hit/miss shower.

Enjoy your Tuesday!
