Yes, today was mild—reaching the 60s –but I’ve run into some kind of flu bug today and I’m the one who has the November Chill. Bummer. Our 60 degree warmth is done–for now–as that narrow band of showers that came through here (with less than .10″ of rain) mid afternoon was attached to a cool front.

This front is not an arctic front but it will lead to seasonable to slightly cooler-than-normal temps over the next few days. We get our sunshine back tomorrow and that will work hard to make the stiff northwest breeze a push. Temps should reach the mid & upper 50s tomorrow.

The weekend offers mainly dry but cool weather with partly sunny skies on Saturday. Sunday, a weak storm will dive out of Canada passing east of Cape Cod–too far away to bother the metro & places west but there may be a few showers/sprinkles on Cape Ann/Cape Cod Sunday afternoon. Temps both weekend days are near 50.

Milder weather is set to return by Election Day.
