A dog in Connecticut had a close call when he got loose on a dangerous highway.
A State Trooper responded to 911 calls about a dog roaming through the northbound lanes of I-95, but when he got there, the dog took off running.
The dog is now recovering from malnourishment and dehydration.
According to officials, if the dog’s owner does not come forward, he will be put up for adoption.
