BOSTON (WHDH) - A freshman at Brighton High School is facing charges after being accused of stabbing a classmate Wednesday.
The alleged attack happened in the school cafeteria Wednesday morning.
School officials say the victim was stabbed in the leg and was taken to the hospital.
The school was placed into what it describes as “safe mode” while police investigated the scene.
Officers arrested the ninth grader in connection with the stabbing.
