LAWRENCE, MASS. (WHDH) - A Lawrence woman was killed following a two-car crash Wednesday morning.
According to State Police, the crash happened on Route 495 at Winthrop Avenue in Lawrence.
Police said around 7 a.m. Sheila Ann Purpora, 44, was traveling southbound in a 2005 Toyota Scion when her car came into contact with a 2011 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by a 65-year-old Amesbury man.
Both cars rolled over.
Purpora was ejected from her car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was transported to Lawrence General Hospital with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
