Police investigating reported abduction attempt in Madbury, NH

MADBURY, NH (WHDH) — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in a reported abduction attempt in Madbury, NH.

According to the Madbury Police, an unknown man attempted to force a teenage boy into a car.

The incident happened at approximately 6:15 a.m. in the area of Perkins Road.

The boy was able to escape and is not hurt.

The car is described as an older-model 4-door sedan. The suspect is an older man with gray hair that “came down over his face.” IT is unclear if that means sideburns or facial hair.

The suspect is also described as wearing a jean jacket, dark red or maroon shirt, and wide eyes.

Police are working with New Hampshire State Police in investigating the incident. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Madbury Police at 603-742-5566.
