Since a snow emergency has not been declared, there should be no space savers on the streets, the Boston mayor’s office said Thursday.

According to the NWS, significant snowfall is expected, with possible accumulations from four to seven inches.

In addition, a winter storm watch is also in effect for southeastern Massachusetts, including Barnstable, Dukes, Plymouth and Bristol counties.
