CHELSEA, Mass. (AP) — A Chelsea man has died after being struck by a car in a hit-and-run crash.
Authorities say 25-year-old Marco Cruz was hit by a vehicle on Washington Avenue at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday.
Cruz was taken to Massachusetts Hospital, where he died from his injuries on Sunday.
Chelsea and State Police recovered evidence at the scene and are searching for the vehicle and driver involved.
The car is believed to be a 2007-2009 Toyota Camry SE, silver or light gray in color with a moon roof and fog lights. The car is expected to have a broken driver’s side headlight and fog light.
