LAWRENCE, MASS. (WHDH) - People in Lawrence rushed to exit an apartment building that went up in flames on Monday.
Fire officials say the fire started in the basement and spread to the first floor.
Emergency crews were able to get on the scene quickly, and put out the flames.
Several people were inside when the fire started.
Officials say the cold weather wasn’t a big problem, but it has made cleaning up the damage more difficult.
