New documents filed in a Florida court last week reportedly reveal that Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez paid his cousin nearly a million dollars to remain quiet about his use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Major League Baseball suspended A-Rod for his role in the drug scandal involving a South Florida clinic.

According to the documents, Rodriguez paid his cousin $900,000 in 2013 to make sure he wouldn’t discuss the player’s drug use.
