Healthcast: Pediatricians work on vaccine schedules

Many pediatricians are working with parents who want to delay their children’s vaccines.

A new study shows a majority of pediatricians get requests to adjust the recommended vaccine schedule for children under 2.

Some parents prefer to spread out the vaccines over time, as opposed to packing them into fewer visits.

While most doctors agree to accommodate parents, many of them still believe it puts children at risk for getting preventable diseases.
