A man pleaded guilty to the death of an infant in Lynn on Friday.
In 2013, a three-month-old was found dead inside an apartment.
On Friday, a man changed his plea and admitted to his role in the tragic death.
Anthony Gideika, 35, plead guilty to manslaughter and admitted he killed Chase Gideika after learning he was not the father.
Gideika is an Iraq War veteran and said he suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and was high on drugs and alcohol when he killed the infant after the child urinated on him.
The infant’s biological father spoke out in court on Friday, saying he was destroyed as a father.
In exchange for his plea, he was sentenced to 16-20 year plus five years of probation after that.
Gideika’s girlfriend is facing trial in March for permitting assault and battery on a child.
