Nashua man arrested for sexually assaulting minor

NASHUA, N.H. (WHDH) – Police arrested a 22-year-old Nashua man Thursday morning in connection with the sexual assault of a minor.

Samuel Mortimer allegedly assaulted a female under the age of 13 who is known to him at a local residence.

A subsequent investigation revealed that Mortimer was the person responsible for the sexual assault and numerous instances of inappropriate touching.

It’s also alleged that he locked the victim in a room and didn’t allow her to leave.

Mortimer was charged with one count of felonious sexual assault, nine counts of simple assault and one count of false imprisonment.

Mortimer is being held at the Nashua Police Department on $50,000 cash or surety bail.
