A firefighter in Manchester, N.H. is facing assault charges after police say he pushed a high school student.
Thomas Defina, 44, turned himself over to police Thursday.
Officers say the incident happened at Kingswood Regional High on March 1.
Defina told officers the student had insulted the school’s JV boy’s basketball team.
Police say surveillance video shows Defina push the 16-year-old.
Defina denies that claim.
