FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) — A man wanted in a fatal 2013 shooting in Rhode Island has been apprehended in Massachusetts.

The Fall River Herald News reports 27-year-old Kongvannark Maloney was arrested Sunday in Fall River following calls concerning a domestic disturbance at an apartment.

Maloney refused to identify himself but was later identified through a fingerprint analysis.

Maloney pleaded not guilty Monday in Fall River District Court to six new weapons offenses and assault charges from the alleged domestic incident.

Police say Maloney and Felix Olivares drove into Johenllys Gabriel Espinal’s vehicle in Providence in Aug. 2013. Authorities say Maloney fatally shot Espinal before fleeing with Olivares.

Olivares was later captured in 2014 and indicted on murder and weapons charges. He was found not guilty.

Maloney is being held pending a dangerousness hearing Thursday.
