The Randolph Police Department made a young boy’s birthday special after most of his gifts were stolen during his party.

Last weekend, 10-year-old William Behl was celebrating his birthday at the Monster Mini Golf in Norwood.

While they were golfing, someone stole a majority of William’s gifts form the party area, police said.

Randolph Sergeant Richard Hughes heard about the theft and decided to replace the stolen gifts.

William and his mother, Cherie, were invited to the police station Wednesday night.

William was given a tour of the station and a ride in a police cruiser.

In addition to a surprise cake, gifts from officers and the Randolph Police Association were waiting for William in the squad room.
