The victim of a shark attack in Hawaii is talking about how he fought off a vicious predator. The man lost one foot and doctors are trying to save the other.
Doctors say he lost so much blood, a few more minutes and he would have been dead. The man says he threw punches while trying to break free from the shark.
"I kept thinking that if I just punched him enough he would let me go, but he wasn’t doing it. He pulled me down one last time, so I just reached out and put my finger in his eye, and I just pulled out his eyeball, and so then he let go," said the man.
A father and son in canoes nearby heard the man’s screams and rushed to help.
