STOUGHTON, MASS. (WHDH) - An 18-year-old was shot inside a CVS on Central Street in Stoughton Thursday afternoon.
Witnesses said shots rang out inside the store after an argument between a few teenagers. Renee Nogueira, who was shopping inside, told 7News she heard “a couple of pops” after the argument began.
The store is currently closed while authorities investigate inside. Nogueira said she saw the teenager holding his shoulder; he was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
Stoughton Police are investigating with the help of the Massachusetts State Police. Police said the shooting was targeted but no arrests have been made.
