A woman was rescued from a river on Commercial Street in Manchester Friday night, according to the Manchester Fire Department.

Officials received a call shortly after 7 p.m. for a 23-year-old woman who was stuck in a river.

She was clinging to a rock in rapid water and frigid temperatures. 

According to officials, she had to be rescued by boat. 

There is no word on any injuries.
