SOMERVILLE, MASS. (WHDH) - An owner and her dog were reunited Thursday after a fire tore through her Somerville home.
Fire officials said flames broke out at the three-story house Thursday evening.
No one was hurt, but crews had to rescue four dogs.
One woman anxiously waited to hear about her dog Frank.
Finally, she received good news that Frank was OK.
“It just feels like a dream and a nightmare,” Frank’s owner Jill Stammer said. “We almost lost him. That would have been the end of me too quite honestly.”
Stammer said she’s grateful to the police and fire departments for working so hard to rescue her dog.
