The World Figure Skating Championships took place in Boston this year, and one American is the talk of the town this weekend.

Ashley Wagner came away with a second place win and the silver medal.

Wagner’s second place finish ends the U.S.’s ten year medal drought at the world championships.

Newton-born Gracie Gold also competed Saturday night. Gold just missed a spot atop the leader board, winning fourth place.
