Patchy fog continues to be an obstacle this morning, but this will gradually improve as we head into the morning hours. We’ll likely grab a break from the fog briefly. Then patchy fog returns this afternoon, with the chance for foggy conditions tonight into tomorrow morning as well.

While we’re starting out your Wednesday dry, make sure to grab an umbrella before you head out the door. Showers push into Southern New England from our southwest. We could see some light, spotty rain this mid to late morning through the lunch hour. However, main act greets us by mid-afternoon, and we see widespread rain into your evening commute, and through the overnight hours.

Rain totals will again be a big benefit to our current drought conditions, with most locations grabbing 0.5-1.5” of rainfall by early tomorrow morning.

Our wet weather scoots out of here rather quickly, and by 9AM tomorrow, we’ll already start to see a clearing trend in our cloud cover. So as we kick off December 2016, we’ll see plenty of sunshine with temperatures near 56°!

Chipping away at drought!
