It’s midweek (Huump Daaayyy) and we have a nice spring day ahead of us. No threat of showers/sprinkles mixing things up with the sun today as High Pressure is with us for the next two days. Today & tomorrow will offer mainly sunny skies both days (few clouds here/there) and seasonably mild temps (afternoon highs near 70—cooler at the coast).

As we head for Friday a warm front begins to creep on us. These fronts are great producers of clouds and precipitation so plan on mostly cloudy skies but only a few isolated showers–certainly not a washout. Unfortunately, this warm front will not live up to its name on Friday as temps stay in the upper 50s for much of the afternoon. Those numbers change by the weekend…big time.

On Saturday, the warm front cruises up into northern New England allowing much warmer arrive to finally arrive this spring with many cities & towns reaching the 70s (the exception being the South Shore, Cape/Islands and Buzzards Bay—60s at these locations). Regardless of location, there will be a lot fo clouds for the day and eventually a slight risk of some late afternoon/evening t-storms (highest chance across western/central MA). The day will also offer humidity. Mother’s Day looks great as of now with mostly sunny skies, low humidity and a warm breeze with may cities & towns up near 80 by afternoon. Likely our first great beach day of the year!
