WORCESTER, MASS. (WHDH) - A Worcester barber celebrates the grand opening of his barbershop by creating a David Ortiz haircut.
Jose Oquendo cut Ortiz’s likeness into a customer’s hair as a tribute to the Red Sox star. Oquendo said it is in appreciation for all Ortiz has done in his career.
“He’s one of my favorite baseball players and I wanted to pay homage to him and give him the respect he deserves for all the years he’s put on for us,” said Oquendo.
Oquendo has won several hair-cutting competitions where barbers have to race against the clock to recreate images in people’s hair.
