So…. the meteorologist in me says it hasn’t exactly been an exciting last two weeks here in Southern New England, however, the non weather geek part of me says keep the sunshine coming! As we head into this weekend, that’s exactly what Mother Nature will do, keep the sunshine coming.

Not only have we had a lot of dry weather, we’ve also had a lot of low humidity days, allowing for very comfortable overnights and early mornings. This morning is no exception to that with temps in the 50s and low 60s to start. Some patchy fog is out there this morning, and will likely be out there again tomorrow morning, but overall, I expect more sunshine than clouds. Winds the next couple of days are onshore, keeping the beaches the coolest (closer to 70) while inland temps head for the lower 80s. Add several degrees to Saturday’s temps and you’ll arrive at Sunday and Monday’s highs. Humidity nudges up a touch by Sunday and more by Monday and Tuesday.

Tuesday features the next shot at some more widespread showers and storms.  We certainly could use the rain as many towns are showing 3-5″ deficits from the last couple months alone with a good deal of southern New England in a moderate drought.  Bottom line, enjoy the weekend, just don’t forget to water those flowers and gardens.
