Back at it today with pleasant spring weather. A few more clouds up in the sky compared to yesterday but still fantastic for outdoor activities with seasonal temps and low humidity. Meanwhile, summertime warmth & humidity continue to build across the center of the nation and head this way.

To get into the warmer, more humid air (and we will) we’ll have to go through some weather on Friday. The warm front (front edge of that warmer air) will begin moving the comfy springtime air out of New England on Friday. This moving process will result in clouds and even a few isolated showers. If you have outdoor plans tomorrow (like I do)—keep them as I don;t think the showers will be long-lasting of heavy. In fact, some of you will go the entire day without feeling one raindrop. Despite the widely scattered raindrops there will be an abundance of clouds & cool temps with most towns in the upper 50s for afternoon highs.

On Saturday, this warm front easily cruises up into northern New England allowing some early summer way to takeover. Plan on a warm & humid day with afternoon temps in the upper 70s. There will be a fair amount of clouds throughout the day but most of the day is dry. I say most because there will be the risk of some isolated late day t-storms popping up in the warmth & humidity. For Mother’s Day we can get rid of the clouds & humidity for Mom but hold onto the warm air with afternoon temps reaching the upper 70s. Sunday is shaping up to be our first decent beach day of the year with beach temps in the 70s (60s on the beaches of Buzzard’s Bay & Cape/Islands).
